Robodickbutt
Yet another movie mash-up of the beloved Dickbutt motif!
I have been inspired of late to create a few of these given the Dickbutt mashups I have seen, from pop culture through to music and movies. These are my take on them...

Another movie-related Dickbutt image. I have been inspired by a lot of these over the years and always meant to draw my own.

There have been a lot of mash-ups over the years regarding movies and Dickbutt, this is one of my own creations.

Xenon II Player Ship Sprite HD by CaptainNow
Xenon II Player Ship Sprite HD
Hi!
Here's another one of those HD sketches I like to do whenever I get the chance, this time it's the player ship-sprite from Xenon II. The original pixel art was by Mark Coleman and was my first real jaw-drop moment when I saw the Amiga in action. I was in a computer shop in the very early 90's (may have even been 1990) and saw this game running on a monitor and couldn't take my eyes off it. It was stunning. A little while later I got to play it and it was tough as old boots, but what pretty boots they were!
This is my *very quick* HD tribute to the ship-sprite.
About 2 hours in total, Photoshop CS3, Wacom Intuos Pro.

Wayne, thanks for calling by - and thank you for selecting one of my favorite pieces! The Cobra MK III as drawn to represent how I felt it would have looked had the 1984 video game ELITE had filled, colored high-resolution graphics. I'm sure you are aware of this, but if not there is now a replacement for classic Acornsoft ELITE in the form of ELITE: Dangerous - an excellent and now successful re-invention of the classic and much-loved Eighties home computer game.

Took a look at your gallery while I was here - very impressive work.

Appendum, THANK YOU Commander for the Watch! I'm hoping to add new classes of vessel to my catalogue this and next year. I'm also open to suggestions for new types of ships too.

Hi!!
I play Elite Dangerous now, it's a stunning game. I am a miner in the Umaitis system in my Cobra MK III and go by the name CMDR Stylophett :)

Thankyou for the kind words Jonathan, I hope all is good with you :)

Thank you, and I'll add you to my friends list when I next log in (which I will admit has not been in a while since I have been busy re-designing a starship! (see gallery, recent work). That said, it's not a spot on your amazingly realistic work! And yes, I too have a Cobra MK III at present and plan to keep the old girl for a while, having played the 1984 version on a BBC Microcomputer. And yes, in answer to your question I am at this moment relatively stable and sound of mind.
